Last Mile.

It's the last week of kindy. In fact, today was the last day of school for the children. School in terms of donning on the school uniform, coming to school in the morning and going through some sort of a routine here. But well, not much of a routine this week. We had been practising for the year end concert and went for an outing at the discovery centre on tuesday.

Talking about the discovery centre, I have had enough of examples and illustrations of how the tour guide talked. "boy boy, girl girl, big bird (jet fighter), gleen glasss (green grass), bong bong (bathe)". He was probably re-enacting his childhood and trying to talk to our kindy kids in kiddy language. Oh boy! Let me say that, kids understand proper english. Perhaps just need to use simple words. But not baby language!

Tomorrow is the concert! We have a graduation ceremony, song items and a play. Well, the kids are not too bad but they arent as perfect as I thought they might be. But it's okay. We will just go in faith that they will do well. Besides, by the mere presence of the kids standing on stage, they're already winners of hearts! (: Did they not win your hearts when they sang at the wedding?
